How are Santoprene brand TPVs different from thermoset rubbers?
Santoprene brand TPVs can be processed on thermoplastic extruders. Thermoset rubbers typically have to go through some sort of curing process. Because Santoprene brand TPVs have a plastic phase and because the size of the rubber particles in the material is small it can be recycled and reprocessed.
