Screen and pad printing inks will not adhere to Santoprene TPV. A primer must be applied to the Santoprene TPV to achieve bonding with ink and other coatings. Primers AL1120 and AL28830 from A-Line Products or primers Chemlok 459X or 459T from Lord Corporation are recommended (see primer section). Heating of the primer and ink coating will further improve bonding.
